FFSA
–FRENCH CHAMPIONSHIP, ESSAY
MICH AND
ZEFIRINI IN COMMAND IN THE KZ2
THE GKS TEAM DRIVER,
ROBIN FRIJNS, ALSO NOTEWORTHY IN THE KF2
The 2nd round
of the French Karting Championship was raced between sun and
rain on the Essay track. But, despite the changing weather,
the FFSA Grand Prix offered exciting races, showing itself
to be full of surprises and also confirmations.
The KZ2 category
was particularly spectacular and, with difficult track conditions
due to the rain, put the drivers to a difficult test. Nevertheless,
Thomas Mich (team MGT) confirmed his superiority, moving back
up after difficult qualifying rounds. On Saturday he was second,
but Sunday Thomas scored a splendid victory gaining full points
for the Championship.
Enzo Zéfirini
also did well, careful not to lose contact with his team-mate,
earning the second spot in the Championship class. The Birel
colors were also noteworthy in the KF2 with Belgian, Robin
Frijns, the leading player in a passionate duel with Charles
Lacaze, behind whom he finished the race on Sunday.
