ALL JAPAN CHAMPIONSHIP EASTERN SERIES ROUND 4, TSUMAGOI

VICTORIES AND PODIUMS FOR BIREL, WINFORCE, RK AND SPIRIT COLOURS IN TSUMAGOI

Full podium in Cadet. Victories in KF2 and in FS 125

The 4th appointment of All Japan Series, the Japanese Kart Championship, at Tsumagoi circuit confirmed the high technical value of Birel karts in all classes. As many as 4 Birel Group drivers ranked among the top 6 on finish line in KF2: fabulous victory for  Tsuboi (Super Winforce-IAME), while Ono (RK-BMB) gained 3rd  place and pole position in qualification. Kubo (RK-BMB) was 5th and Matsubara 6th. Great performance also in outstanding junior Cadet category, in which Birel Group has always played the main role technology wise. Not only Takahashi was the champion racing with a glorious Birel C 28, but the whole team literally dominated the category. All steps on the podium were taken, with Sato (RK) in 2nd and Suzuki (Spirit) 3rd. Natori's 5th place and Koizumi in 6th   completed the remarkable performance.
Success and satisfaction also in the two leading engine single brand championships:  FS 125 with X30 Iame engine and FP Junior with Yamaha engine. Turbo Asahi of Quintarelli team won in Iame Series  (with Mikasa and Abe respectively 3rd  and 5th  with Spirit chassis ), while Ogawa conquered a good 6th place in FP Junior Championship, consolidating his top placement in classification.
Tadashi Sasaki, Birel Pacific Chairman, commented on the excellent weekend: “Birel, Winforce, RK and Spirit chassis once again proved their absolute technological value by making the difference, whatever the engine, the tyres and the category.  This means that the great development work, carried out for each single category in collaboration with Birel technicians, now guarantees us an advantage over all main competitors. Our group is currently the market leader.  And, last but not least, I must highlight the brilliant performance of BMB engines in KF2 as well as the importance of the excellent degree of professionalism offered by both our technicians and the external teams."
